We’ve really gone to town with activities and workshops for children and families for 2026! Most activities take place in our expanded Cariad Bach area.

DJ Academy
With DJ Killer Tom (GLC) ❤︎ Times TBC
For children and teenagers (7–17 years), we present the new Big Love DJ Academy, with professional touring DJ and educator Killer Tom (Goldie Lookin’ Chain).
With sessions on Saturday and Sunday, participants will get to learn essential DJing skills in small groups, with plenty of time to practice on the CDJs. Kids are encouraged to bring their favourite tunes on a USB stick.
The DJ Academy is free, so just drop in and have a go!
Graffiti Art Workshop
With Spike Clark ❤︎ Sunday lunchtime
Spike is an artist who specialises in creating large-scale works using spray paint, and is regularly commissioned to produce works around the UK and Europe. His work has graced the Museum of London and more. He’ll be on hand to help children and teenagers try their hands at some large spray can art at these drop-in afternoon sessions.

Aerial Workshops & Circus Skills

Join our epic ‘give-it-a-whirl’ aerial workshops for a thrilling spin to start your festival weekend! Dive into an hour-long aerial session where we will teach hoop and silks. These sessions will include a warm up and cool down.
We have limited class numbers to maximise your time in the air. You can pre-book the sessions online or in person while spaces are available.
Sessions for children aged 6–10 and 11+. We recommend registering your interest in advance as places are strictly limited.
There will be plenty of opportunities for all ages to try out other circus skills such as plate spinning too (just turn up to enjoy).
Hula Hoop Workshop
With The Sparklettes ❤︎ 11am Sunday
Looking for a new party trick? Join The Sparklettes on Sunday morning for a Hula Hoop Workshop and learn all the skills you need to become a hula hero.
Pom Pom People workshop
With Radical Kindness ❤︎ 1:30pm Friday
Join the Pom Pom People on Friday and create your very own magical pom poms and share some joy and kindness. Then celebrate your colourful creations in the Big Love Parade on Sunday!
Please note to conserve the magical powers of the pom poms, the workshops are small groups at a time. Age guide: 6+ years old and young at heart. (children must be accompanied by an adult)
The Pom Pom People are community focused, magical daydreamers sharing Radical Kindness through craftivism, walkabouts and pop-up workshops created by Naz Syed, Ziba Creative.
Supersonic Sparklette Family Rave
2pm Saturday Dance Class & 3pm Saturday Super Shindig
A one hour Family Dance Class followed by a one hour Family Disco.
Blow the cobwebs (or hangovers 😉) away and join The Sparklettes and The Lovely Phoenix for a Supersonic Sparklette family rave. Wear your festival sequins, your sparkly unitards, your glittery hats and come and boogie to some old school rave bangers and start the last day of the festival with a bang!
Carnival Mask-Making Workshop
With Silvia Sacrestano ❤︎ 11am Saturday
Join designer and educator Silvia as she helps children of all ages unleash their imaginations and create some fabulous carnival masks – perfect to wear on the Big Love Parade on Sunday!
Pom Pom People – Pre-Parade Walkabout

Look out for the Pom Pom People gifting messages of kindness and joy. They are on a mission to share messages of gratitude and love, spreading sunshine to brighten your day!

Dolly Parton Yoga

Let’s imbibe the essence of Dolly Parton, let’s breathe her magical stardust essence right into the heart of our yoga flow to the sounds of her wonderful music in this homage to Dolly.
You’re invited to tap into a little slice of the joy she brings along with a generous helping of humility and generosity, let’s expect to leave with a renewed twinkle in our eyes and a golden glow to our hearts. Enjoy a flowing ad lib style sequence, please wear something that makes you feel fabulous and let’s get our Dolly yoga groove on… Sunday afternoon in the Wellbeing Sanctuary.
Interactive Sound Workshop
With Alex Fioravante ❤︎ 10am Saturday in the Hill Fort
Join Alex Fioravante for this fun, family-friendly one hour session, where he will be holding space for fun interaction with sounds. The workshop will take place in the Wellbeing Sanctuary up in the woods.
There will be cosy spaces to relax and lie down as well as plenty of space to move around too. You will have an opportunity to interact and play with the gongs, bells and chimes as part of the interactiveness of this event.
Please feel free to come along and dance, connect with your inner child in the spaces created by the sounds of the gong and some of the other instruments Alex uses.

Zumba class

The World’s Smallest Solar Powered Cinema ❤︎ All weekend
The Sol Cinema is a mobile outdoor cinema in a vintage caravan powered entirely by Solar energy complete with an usherette and red carpet. Come and see what’s showing!
