Camping at Big Love

General camping is included in the price of a weekend Big Love ticket.

At Big Love you won’t be crammed in like sardines. You’re guaranteed a spot camping by your mates, with loads of room to spread out and really make the space your own!

Sleep under canvas, and wake up to stunning views across the idyllic Monmouthshire countryside. There’s plenty of room to create your own festival micro-camp with your friends. Need some inspiration?

For 2025 you can choose between the standard campsite and the family/quiet campsite (no loud noise after 10pm please).

The camping fields are just a 200m from the car park, so no lugging your kit over big hills, and they’re about 150m from the stages.

Remember though, you need to purchase a pass if you are coming in a camper van or other live-in vehicle.

Creature comforts

Camping doesn’t have to mean roughing it!

Drinking water is available from stand pipes around the field.

If you want to cook your own food, barbecues and open fires are not allowed in the camping area, but gas camping stoves are fine. Please be sensible – it’s been a very dry year, and we want to avoid any grass fires that could spread.

All of the toilets (except wheelchair-accessible ones) are composting loos for 2025. This means about 5 steps up to enter.

All campers have access to free showers.

Camping FAQ

Can I pitch my tent next to my friend’s campervan?

Yes, at our stewards’ discretion, provided tents are pitched sensibly and do not block vehicle access routes.

We want to treat ourselves — is there a ‘glamping’ option?

Yes, we’ve got some fantastic boutique camping or ‘glamping’ options for you, see below.

Can I stay in a nearby hotel?

There are some great local hotels and bed & breakfasts in nearby Usk, and festival guests are welcome to stay in them. Please be aware of gate times though. If you are staying off-site and are going to be enjoying a drink, we recommend getting a taxi to/from your hotel as the lanes are very narrow and unsuitable for walking. Again, vehicle movement is at the discretion of stewards and security at the time, and our primary concern is the safety and security of other festival guests and the local community. Anyone thought to be moving a vehicle whilst intoxicated is liable to have their vehicle keys confiscated by security. We will be providing details of local taxi services nearer the date.

We have a separate, dedicated boutique camping area, up in the heart of the Iron Age hill fort for 2025. For those who want your weekend escape to be as memorable as possible, we’ve also got some gorgeous boutique options created by a team we know and trust to deliver a great experience.
