Volunteer at Big Love!
We’re looking for volunteers to work before, during and after the festival this July. In return for your time, you’ll be fed and watered whilst on shift, get free entry to the festival, and have access to the crew campsite. Best of all, you’ll become a member of the Big Love family!
Typically volunteers work two 7-hour shifts over four days, in return for a ticket to the festival, meals during your shift, and access to crew camping.

Build & Break
If you’re practical, hands-on, or have a creative streak, we’re looking for volunteers to help build and break down the site in the week before and after the festival. This could involve setting up structures, fencing and site infrastructure, installing signage and lighting, and packing down and restoring the site once the event is over. Your shifts will be completed before and after the festival, giving you the full weekend to enjoy what you have built. Please note that you will be asked to do more hours than the Live Event Volunteers.
Decor Team
If you love creativity, aesthetics and turning spaces into something magical, this one’s for you. You’ll help install decor across the site, style stages and areas, and assist with pack-down after the event. An eye for detail is a big plus, some light lifting may be involved, and creative input is always welcome.Your shifts will be completed before and after the festival, giving you the full weekend to enjoy what you have built. Please note that you will be asked to do more hours than the Live Event Volunteers.
Live Event
Whether you’re great with people, love helping out, or have a skill to offer, there’s a place for you at Big Love! You could be assisting at info points or entry areas, stewarding the car park, helping attendees with directions, or supporting different teams across the site. Shifts are scheduled across the weekend (around 14 hours total – one day shift, one evening shift), with a meal provided during each shift. You’ll be interacting with festival-goers and crew, so a friendly, calm vibe goes a long way.
Green Team
This is a great role for anyone who likes to be on the move, roaming the site with a litter picker in hand, interacting with the public and helping us keep the site looking spectacular. You’ll never miss your favourite acts as you’ll be able to work whilst you dance!

Paid Roles
We are a small, passionate team delivering something rather special, with the majority of the festival run by volunteers. Everyone pours their heart and soul into Big Love and we are a close family of friends and colleagues. We do not expect any of our crew to work stupid amounts of hours and genuinely care about your welfare.
When paid roles come up our volunteers will always be given priority, so if you are looking to start a career in Events, this is a great way develop practical skills, add something genuinely valuable to your CV and be part of the Big Love journey.
