Silvia Sacrestano

In this 90-minute workshop you’ll learn how to make some fabulous burlesque-style masks. Using card as the base, you will trace, cut, create and decorate a wearable paper party mask.

The session is run by Silvia Sacrestano, an Italian fashion designer and community artist who graduated from Central Saint Martin’s BA Fashion Print in 2000. Since then she has been working as a fashion textile screen print designer and carnival costume artist.

All materials are included, and Silvia will be shaping the session around the theme of Mother Nature, so you can wear your masks to the themed evening party (and no one will recognise you, like Eyes Wide Shut!). FREE SESSION but donations appreciated to cover the cost of materials (feathers, papers etc.). (12:00-13:30 Saturday)
