After an amazing party in Bristol last year, we’ve decided to bring the party back to Cardiff. We’re transforming The Globe in Roath into Big Love Festival for one night, with colourful festival decor galore! Expect prize draws, free gifts and the best possible vibes to see in the new year!

The fun starts at 8pm with live performances and DJs, and goes on till 3am!

Skunkadelic

Wales’ premier party starter on the mic. His signature baritone and lyrical dexterity is instantly recognisable amidst the ever fertile soundscape of UK Hip-Hop. Bearing a musical heritage shaped by the golden era of hip hop and rooted in his family domain of Nigeria, he channels passion, experience and ingenuity into every rhyme. He has shared the stage with Rag N Bone Man, Ozomatli, Talib Kweli, The Pharcyde, Grandmaster Flash, Blackalicious and many more, plus he heads up 9-piece monster funk collective Afro Cluster!

Bodhi

Anyone who has visited our festival’s Disco Barn will undoubtedly have danced their socks off to one of the biggest electronic music exports from Wales in the last 15 years, with releases on some of dance music’s most prestigious labels such as Strictly Rhythm, Black Butter, Rinse, Dance Trax and Future Classic.

Kaptin Barrett

Our festivals would never be complete without the closing set from Cardiff’s favourite prodigal son. A firm festival favourite playing regularly at Glastonbury, Boomtown (where he was also head of music for 10 years), Green Man, Shambala and many many others around the world. He’s also recorded sets on BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra and has the deepest music knowledge of anyone we know. Expect some hands in the air, foot stomping fun.
