First Love: supporting emerging talent
Big Love Festival was founded in 2015, with the aim of providing a platform where emerging musical artists could showcase their work to a wider audience, alongside more established acts.
Although the festival has grown in size over the last seven years, supporting emerging musical talent is more important to us than ever. We now have a stage dedicated to up-and-coming artists – the First Love Stage – housed in the gorgeous wooden Teapot Tent.
As well as sifting through hundreds of submissions from artists keen to play, we also work closely with our friends at U & I Radio to showcase a broad range of emerging talent from around the UK.
Last year we hosted some incredible acts on the First Love Stage, including Curious Orange, Ophelia Xerri, Katielou, The Vegas Nerve, Wolfe Hogan, The Mermerings and many more. This year, Big Scott from U & I Radio will be curating another incredible selection of emerging talent at Big Love.
