DJ Dad started living in 1956 and DJing in Leeds and then London in 1972. He has played at most of the UK’s leading festivals and clubs across Bristol and London as well as being a firm Shambala favourite.
All the classics – little bitta this, little bitta that! DJ Jaffa started DJing in 1985, since then he has played every major festival in the UK. He’ ha’s played alongside and supported artists such as Kool Herc, Grandmaster Flash, Cash Money, Snoop Dogg, The Jungle Brothers, Kool Keith, Ugly Duckling, Public Enemy, DJ Yoda, Ghostface Killah and more.
Former queen of the legendary Backrooms in Cardiff, and more recently resident at Delete, it is an absolute pleasure to welcome Clare to the Big Love party. She’ll be spoiling us with us with some huge party vibes for New Year’s…

X-Ray Ted is a DJ & producer from Bristol, UK, specialising in a unique blend of Party Breaks, Hip Hop, Funk, Disco & Rock. A bona-fide, tried and tested party rocker with the skills to match his selections. His multi-genre DJ sets & cut-and-paste production have gained him support from the likes of BBC Radio 2, BBC 6 Music, international clothing label Superdry; and placed him in the 2019 Redbull 3style UK Finals.

Kaptin Barrett (a.k.a. AAA Badboy) is a walking encyclopedia of music, so its very fitting he’s programmed countless festival stages as head of music for Boomtown for many years! With a particular love for world music, global bass, Soca and Reggae we can’t wait to see what he pulls out of his collection for Tropical Tea Party!
Ru Robinson has previously been called one of the “smiliest DJs in town”. His eclectic taste and for all things worldly, joyous and groovy have eanred him a well trusted reputation as DJ, selector and digger of records!
