Big Love 2020 Important Update

After closely monitoring events and government guidance, it is with heavy hearts that we have to announce that Big Love 2020 will be postponed until June July 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The safety of our Big Love family – audience, artists, and crew – is paramount and we appreciate your patience whilst we’ve been working through this unprecedented situation.

As you know, Big Love is a small, independent festival with no corporate investment or sponsors – we are run as a not-for-profit Community Interest Company, and are funded entirely by ticket sales.

All tickets are valid for the next Big Love

For this reason, we ask that if you have already bought a ticket, you keep hold of it and join us at next year’s event. All tickets & accommodation purchased for this year will be valid for Big Love 2021, which will take place from Fri 11th to Sun 13th June.

We will be offering incentives and treats to show our gratitude in enabling us to make 2021 the best year yet! More on that to follow….

We will also be extending the deadline for people paying by instalments until next year.

If you’re unable to attend, we will of course be offering refunds on tickets already purchased (see below). Alternatively, you will also be able to sell/transfer any tickets you have bought, and we will process a name change for you free of charge, with no time limit on name changes.

We really appreciate that it is a huge commitment from you, we are truly inspired by the support we have received from everyone and are more determined than ever to make it bigger and better than ever.

The good news!

The good news is we have spoken to our artists and the majority are available to perform with us next year – including LTJ Bukem and the other headliners. In addition to all the acts already advertised this year, we hope to add one or two additional headliners as a special thank you.

Understandably during the next few weeks there will be delays responding to emails and social media messages – like everyone else, we’re juggling childcare, self-isolation, government websites and caring for loved ones. All we ask for is your understanding and patience at this time.

Name changes or refunds

We’re so sorry if you’re unable to attend Big Love on these new dates; you can of course request a refund on your tickets or to change the name on your tickets. If you’re not sure at this stage, don’t worry, your money is safe, and you have until 12th June 2020 to request a refund.

Please do not contact the organisation where you bought the ticket. Instead, please send your ticket details (in the purchase confirmation email) and whether you would like a name change or refund to us.

For multiple ticket purchases, we can refund individual tickets if some of the party are still planning to attend.

We will try to process any requests for refunds as quickly as possible, but please be patient – we’re a tiny not-for-profit organisation, arranging the festival in our spare time, with the same personal pressures as everyone else in these difficult times. We’re doing our best!

Refunds must be requested by 12th June 2020. Name changes can be requested at any time before the next event.

Refunds are only available for tickets purchased before 12th April 2020.

Refunds will only be issued to the original purchaser.
